Ingredients

Serves 4

  • carrots 5 nos

  • salt 1 1/2 tsp

  • coarsely ground mustard seeds 1 1/2 tsp

  • chili powder 1 tsp

  • turmeric 1/2 tsp

  • asafoetida 1/8 tsp

  • lemon juice 1 tbsp

  • mustard oil or olive oil 1 tbsp

Directions

    Take carrot cut into thin slices

  • 02

    remove excess water in carrort

  • 03

    Mix all the ingredients together with the carrots and put in a jar

  • 04

    Pickle is ready the next day

  • 05

    Pickle can be refrigerated for about two weeks
