Ingredients

Serves 4

  • potato diced into small cubes 1 cups

  • Chikpea flour 1/2 cups

  • rice flour optional 1 tbsp

  • garlic paste 1 tsp

  • cumin powder 1 tsp

  • green chili chopped 2 nos

  • curry leaves 2 sprig

  • salt 1 pinch

  • sunflower oil 200 ml

  • water 1 cups

Directions

    In a bowl add potato cubes ,salt,cumin powder and leave aside for a minute

    Add chopped green chili and garlic paste to it

  • 03

    Add 2 tbsp chickpea flour and chopped curry leaves and mix well

  • 04

    Add more chikpea flour and rice flour to it

  • 05

    Add little water to it

  • 06

    You need to make the consistency thick

  • 07

    To that extent where it can fall from your finger easily into the kadai

    Heat Oil in a kadai

  • 09

    Start frying the potato cubes coated with chickpea flour in batches

  • 10

    Fry them at medium heat until they are light brown

  • 11

    Serve hot
