Ingredients
Serves 3
nova Milk 1/2 litre
Rice 100 gms
Sugar 250 gms
Cardamom powder 1 tsp
Water 1 cups
nova ghee 12 tsp
kismis & nuts 25 gms
Directions
In a heavy bottomed vessel half cook rice(you can use basmati rice also) with 1 cup of water
Add milk and cook again
Stir continuously
Once the rice cooked well,add sugar and stir for 5 minutes
Add cardamom powder and cover the pan and keep aside for sometime
Roast cashew nuts and raisins in ghee and add to the payasam
Mix well
