Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 2 nos raw platains


  • 1 cups coconut oil


  • 1 tbsp turmeric powder


  • 2-3 tbsp water


  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

  • In a small bowl add water, salt and turmeric powder, stir and mix well. Keep aside.
  • Slit the banana skin and peel them and sliced them very thinly using a slicer.
  • Heat oil in a pan. When the oil is hot, simmer the heat and add the sliced banana one at a time and fry on medium heat for few mins till it begins to crisp.
  • Simmer the heat and sprinkle little Turmeric water. Be careful it will splash. Increase to medium heat and fry again. When the sizzling stops take the chips out and drain in an absorbent paper.
  • Serve immediately or store it in an air tight container
  • Tips - If you can't source coconut oil you can use other vegetable oil but Coconut oil gives the authentic taste.
