Ingredients

Serves 2

  • Long grain rice 2 cups

  • Cinnamon 2 nos

  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp

  • Cloves 8 nos

  • Green cardamom 6 nos

  • Black pepper corn 1 tbsp

  • turmeric powder 3/4 tsp

  • Sugar 2 tsp

  • Salt 1 tsp

  • Pure ghee 2 tbsp

  • Refined oil 3 tbsp

  • Dry fruits (optional) 1/2 cups

Directions

    Wash rice thoroughly and keep in a strainer for drain

  • 02

    Now dry up rice on clean cloth in fan air

  • 03

    Heat oil and ghee together in a heavy bottom pan on high flame

  • 04

    Reduce heat on medium heat

  • 05

    Now add cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon, green cardamom, blackpepper in oil and fry till aroma comes out

    Put rice in the pan and fry till light brown colour

  • 07

    Stir several times to save from burn

  • 08

    Now boil 4 cup water in a cooker on high flame

  • 09

    Add turmeric powder, sugar, salt and fried rice in water

  • 10

    Now close the lid of the cooker and wait till pressure becomes

    Now reduce heat on low flame

  • 12

    After 2 whistle switch off gas stove

  • 13

    Let it cool down naturally

    Open lid of cooker,Now take out rice from cooker and keep it in a casserole

    ,Garnish with dry fruits if you want
