  • 250 gms paneer

  • 3 nos onion ,large sized diced

  • 4 nos green chillies

  • 6-8 nos garlic cloves crushed

  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds

  • 1/4 tsp kashmiri chilli powder

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 tbsp sambhar powder

  • 1 sprig curry leaves

  • 4 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 3/4 tsp salt to taste

  • 1 tsp coriander leaves


  • Cut paneer in cubes
  • ​Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan on medium heat
  • Add cumin seeds, green chillies and curry leaves n crack for few seconds till aroma comes out
  • Add crusted garlic cloves and fry for 1 min
  • Then add onion and fry just for one minute
  • Now add turmeric powder, sambhar powder, Kashmiri chilli powder and salt to taste n fry for 2 min on low heat
  • Stir twice to save from burning
  • Add paneer cubes and fry for another 2 min so that all spices will coat properly on paneer pieces
  • Stir gently twice while cooking
  • Sprinkle coriander leaves and switch off gas stove
  • Serve hot with chapati, paratha or nan in any meal as a side dish
  • It can be served as snacks item in cocktail/ mocktail party
