Ingredients

Serves 4

  • potato 4 nos

  • Frozen green peas 1/4 cups

  • Onion, medium finely chopped 1 nos

  • ginger 1 tsp

  • garlic 6 nos

  • Green chilly 2 nos

  • Red chilly powder 1/4 tsp

  • Coriander powder 1/2 tsp

  • Garam masala powder 1/4 tsp

  • Coriander leaves finely chopped 1 tbsp

  • Cumin seeds 1/4 tsp

  • Salt 1 pinch

  • Oil 1/3 cups

  • FOR SERVING:Coriander dip 1 tbsp

  • Curd - mint dip 1 tbsp

  • Cucumber balls 1-2 nos

  • Watermelon balls 1-2 nos

  • Onion cubes 1-2 nos

  • Coriander leaves 2-3 nos

  • Lime juice 1/2 cups

Directions

    Make 2 cut marks in each potato, Preheat oven for 10 minutes

    Transfer potatoes on wire rack​, keep it in middle row and bake on 180°c for 45 min to 1hour

    Leave it in oven till cool down

    Peel off, mash and keep aside in a bowl

    Heat 3 tbsp oil in a kadhai on high flame,Crack cumin seeds and add onion for frying on medium heat

  • 06

    In between crushed ginger, garlic and green chilly together n add in kadhai and fry till pink colour, Stir several times

    Now add dry spices, salt and fry for 30 seconds

  • 08

    Take out half portion fried spices and mix it in mashed potatoes, Add little salt to potatoes

    Now add mashed green peas in spices and fry at least 5 minutes

    Cool it down and add half coriander leaves in it and rest of leaves in mashed potatoes,Mix very well

  • 11

    Take a portion of mashed potatoes n filled it with green peas, make a good shape of kababes as your wish,Repeat this process for rest of kababes

    Heat a heavy bottom frypan on high flame

  • 13

    Reduce heat and add little oil on pan,Shallow fry all kababes in small batches till golden brown on medium heat

  • 14

    Serve hot with green coriander dip, curd and mint dip and salad
