Ingredients
Serves 4
Tiger prawns 500 gms
Onion large finely chopped 2 nos
Garlic cloves peeled 8 nos
ginger 1 tbsp
Mint leaves 2 tbsp
Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
green chillies 4 nos
turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Blackpepper 1/4 tsp
Vegetable oil 4 tbsp
Vinegar 2 tbsp
Salt to taste 1 tbsp
Directions
Peel off prawns neatly and wash it properly atleast twice with running water
When you wash it 3rd time add 2 tbsp vinegar/lemon juice in water, leave it for 5 minutes like this and then wash it off,Keep it in strainer for drain excess water
Keep these prawns in a bowl add 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp blackpepper n mix well
Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan on medium heat
Crack cumin seeds for 20 seconds​ or till aroma comes out, Add chopped onion and a pinch of salt in it
Fry till onion's colour changed, While onion frying is going on put chillies, garlic, ginger, mint leaves and coriander leaves in a chatney jar n make a coarse paste with help of little water
Stir several times while frying of onion, Now add prawns in a pan and fry for 2 minutes both sides
Now add fresh green masala in prawns n fry for another 5 minutes both sides,Adust salt before switch off gas stove
Serve hot with cocktail and mocktail
