Ingredients

Serves 5

  • Banana 2 nos

  • Sharkara(crushed) 1/2 cups

  • Coconut milk(1st extract) 1 cups

  • Coconut milk(2nd extract) 1 cups

  • Cashews 2 tsp

  • raisins 2 tsp

  • Ghee 4 tsp

  • Sliced coconut pieces 2 tsp

  • cardamom(crushed) 1 tsp

Directions

    For coconut milk

    Take 2 coconut,grate it finely

  • 03

    add the grated coconut in a blender for some time,squeeze it for the milk(first extract)and keep it aside

    again blend the grated coconut and add some hot water into it,squeeze it again for getting the second extract of coconut milk

    For making Pradhaman

  • 06

    Cook the bananas until it becomes very soft

  • 07

    Remove the outer skin and de-seed it,remove the black layer inside and crush the banana into a fine paste form

    Take a medium vessel and put some ghee into it

  • 09

    Fry the banana paste for some time

  • 10

    Add the crushed sharkara into it and stir well until the mixture thickens

  • 11

    Add the 2nd extract coconut milk(Thin) and allow it to boil

  • 12

    When the mixture thickens add the first extract coconut milk(Thick),crushed cardamom into it and cook for some time(in reduced heat)

    Remove it from heat

  • 14

    In a small pan add some ghee and fry coconut pieces,raisins,cashews and add it to the pradhaman

  • 15

    Tasty pazham pradhaman is ready to serve
