Ingredients

Serves 2

  • Potatoes / Aloo boiled and mashed 250 gms

  • Onion / Pyaaj chopped 2 cups

  • Tomato / Tamatar 1 cups

  • Ginger / Adarak grated 1 tsp

  • Green Chillies / Hari Mirch chopped (quantity depends upon preference) 3-4 nos

  • Turmeric Powder / Haldi 1 tsp

  • Red Chilli Powder / Lal mirch powder 2 tsp

  • Garam Masala 2-3 tsp

  • Black Mustard Seeds / Rai 1 tsp

  • Curry Leaves/ curry patta 10-15 nos

  • Asafetida / Hing 1/4 tsp

  • Salt / Namak 1 tbsp

  • Oil 150 gms

  • Coriander Leaves / Dhaniya chopped 1-2 sprig

Directions

    Heat oil in a pan, Now put hing and rai in oil and let it crackle

  • 02

    After that add grated ginger and green chillies with curry leaves and saute for a minute

  • 03

    Then add 1 cup of onion and saute it till it turns light brown

  • 04

    Now add all the dry spices except salt and saute for some more time

  • 05

    When spices are cooked then add remaining onions, tomatoes and boiled potatoes with salt and mix it well

    Cook and mix it for 5 minutes and switch off the flame

  • 07

    Now garnish it with coriander leaves and mix

  • 08

    Potato stuffing for dosa is ready
