Ingredients

Serves 2

  • Raw fish oil - 250 gms

  • Garlic paste - 1 Tsp

  • Chilly powder - 1/4 Tsp/ to taste

  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 Tsp

  • Wheat flour - 1 Tsp

  • Green chilly - 5-6 no

  • Salt - 1/2 Tsp / to taste

Directions

    Wash fish fat thoroughly under running water,Add 1 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice in water n keep it for 1 minute then drain excess water,This process will control strong smell of fish

    Heat a heavy bottom kadhai on high flame

  • 03

    Put raw fish fat in kadhai and reduce heat on medium,Stir well

  • 04

    Add garlic paste, turmeric powder and chilly powder in it and cook for 5 - 7 minutes, Stir twice

    Now add salt, flour, green chillies and cook for another 5 minutes or its colour changed in pink, Switch off gas stove

    Now fish oil is ready for have,You can take it with chapati and steamed rice, It really tastes yummy with hot boiled rice

    NOTE- We should take care while purchasing that fish fat should be red to pink in colour and fresh,Take out gallbladder and some portion from nearby this area, very carefully from intestines
