Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • Raw fish oil - 250 gms


  • Garlic paste - 1 Tsp


  • Chilly powder - 1/4 Tsp/ to taste


  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 Tsp


  • Wheat flour - 1 Tsp


  • Green chilly - 5-6 no


  • Salt - 1/2 Tsp / to taste

Directions

  • Wash fish fat thoroughly under running water, Add 1 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice in water n keep it for 1 minute then drain excess water, This process will control strong smell of fish
  • Heat a heavy bottom kadhai on high flame
  • Put raw fish fat in kadhai and reduce heat on medium,Stir well
  • Add garlic paste, turmeric powder and chilly powder in it and cook for 5 - 7 minutes, Stir twice
  • Now add salt, flour, green chillies and cook for another 5 minutes or its colour changed in pink, Switch off gas stove
  • Now fish oil is ready for have
  • You can take it with chapati and steamed rice, It really tastes yummy with hot boiled rice
  • NOTE- We should take care while purchasing that fish fat should be red to pink in colour and fresh,Take out gallbladder and some portion from nearby this area, very carefully from intestines
