Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 2 nos for stuffing: medium onions finely chopped


  • 3-4 nos green chillies chopped(you can change the quantity accordingly)


  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 4-5 nos boiled and mashed potato


  • 1/2 tsp jeera


  • 1/2 tsp haldi(optional)


  • 1 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1 tsp garam masala


  • 1 tsp dhaniya powder


  • 1 pinch salt- to taste


  • 150 ml oil


  • 5 nos for coating:bread slices(you can cut the brown edges)


  • 100 ml water


  • 1/4 cups sooji (optional)


  • 150 ml oil- for frying

Directions

  • Heat some oil in pan
  • After heating oil, add jeera ,green chillies and chopped onion
  • After stirring for 2 minutes, add ginger garlic paste and wait till onion turns light pink
  • Now add all the dry spices along with boiled potatoes and mix it well on medium flame for few minutes
  • Now your stuffing is ready
  • Put the stuffing in a bowl and let it cool down to room temperature
  • Now it's time for coating
  • Soak the bread in water and immediately remove and press it between your hands slightly
  • Place it on plate
  • Soak another bread slice and press it
  • Take some stuffing and place it on one bread slice and cover it with another slice
  • Now shape it in either round or oval shape
  • After this, dab this cutlet in sooji ,so that it becomes fully covered by sooji
  • Now make cutlets from rest of the stuffing
  • Heat oil in pan
  • Now deep fry all the cutlets on medium flame till it turns golden brown
  • Now the yummy Bread Cutlet are ready to be served with Green Chutney
