Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Palappam Podi 500 gms

  • Sugar 4 tbsp

  • Salt- 1/2 tsp

  • Water (light warm) 850 ml

  • Egg (Boiled and cut into 4 pieces) 5 nos

  • Big Onion (sliced) 3 nos

  • Eastern Egg Masala 40 gms

  • Refined vegetable oil 3 tbsp

  • Green Chilly sliced 3 nos

  • Curry Leaves 1 sprig

  • Mustard 1/2 cups

  • Water 1 cups

  • Salt to taste 1 pinch

Directions

    Preparation-Mix all the ingredients of the Palappam mix thoroughly in a mixer for 1 min

    After 1 hour delicious Palappams can be made

    Note: (½ to 1 glass of milk +5 to 5 ½ glasses of water (instead of 5 to 6 glasses of water) will improve the taste and softness)

    Cooking-Heat oil

  • 05

    Crackle mustard and saute sliced onion till the onion turn golden brown

  • 06

    Add green chilly, curry leaves and salt

  • 07

    Add Eastern Egg Masala and sauté further

  • 08

    Pour the required water and bring to boil

  • 09

    Now add sliced Eggs

  • 10

    When gravy thickens remove from fire and serve hot
