Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 200 gms cauliflower


  • 150 gms green peas (matar)


  • 3 tbsp eastern turmeric powder


  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil


  • 3 tbsp eastern cumin seeds


  • 1 tbsp eastern chilli powder


  • 1 sprig fresh coriander leaves


  • 1 pinch salt to taste

Directions

  • Boil the cauliflower florets and peas in a pan of water seasoned with salt and the turmeric
  • Drain well and set aside
  • Heat the oil in a wide pan
  • Add the cumin seeds and chilli powder and cook until the cumin seeds start to crackle
  • Add cauliflower and peas and stir until the cauliflower starts to brown
  • Add little water to avoid burning the ingredients and cook
  • Serve with sea salt and the coriander to garnish
