Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 kgs medium sized chicken pieces


  • 5 tbsp eastern chicken masala


  • 1 cups big onion sliced


  • 1 tbsp sliced ginger


  • 3 nos garlic cloves


  • 2 nos green chilli


  • 2 nos curry leave stalks


  • 2 tbsp refined vegetable oil


  • 1 tsp mustard as required


  • 1 pinch salt -to taste

Directions

  • Marinate chicken pieces in eastern Chicken Masala and salt
  • Leave for ten minutes
  • Grind ingredients 4, 5 and 6 into a fine paste and set aside
  • Heat oil in a vessel, crackle mustard and fry onion
  • Add the paste and stir well
  • Add chicken, three cups of water and cook till done
  • Add curry leaves and serve hot
  • (Coconut milk or paste may be added for taste)
