Cut the skin of the pineapple and remove the cores of the pineapple properly. Cut the pineapple into small cubes.
Heat oil in a pan and add red chili to it. Then add hing to it and fry. Then add the panch phutan and let it crackle. Now add curry leaves and fry again
Add chopped pineapple to it and fry for some minutes. Then add salt, haldi and red chili powder and cook up to soft. Mash the pineapple pieces at the back of the ladel and make it bit mushy.
Then add half cup of water to it and allow it to boil. Then add sugar to it and let the sugar melt in. Allow it to cook on simmer for 5 more minutes. Switch off the gas.
