  • Salt to taste 1 tsp

  • baking soda 1 tsp

  • 2) Ingredients for making Sambhar : Arhar Dal 1 1/2 cups

  • Lauki 500 gms

  • chopped carrot 1 nos

  • chopped onions 2 nos

  • chopped tomatoes 2 nos

  • haldi 1/4 tsp

  • dhaniya powder 1 tsp

  • red chilli powder 1 tsp

  • sambhar masala 2 tbsp

  • rae 1 tsp

  • oil 3 tbsp

  • red chillies 4 nos

  • khatae 1 tbsp

  • imli 1 tbsp

  • Salt to taste 1 tsp

    SAMBHAR RECEPI

    WASH DAL , CUT LAUKI.

  • 03

    PRESSURE COOK DAL AND LAUKI BY ADDING SALT AND HALDI.

    IN A PAN ADD OIL, RAE , CURRY LEAVES AND RED CHILLIES.

    ADD IN ONIONS AND CARROTS.

  • 06

    SAUTE THEM TILL THEY ARE SEMI COOKED.

    ADD IN TOMATOES.

  • 08

    COOK TILL TOMATOES ARE MASHED

    ADD IN LITTLE WATER AND ALL DRY MASALES

    ADD IN IMLI DISSOLVED IN WATER

    AFTER EVERYTHING IS COOKED, TRANSFER THESE INTO DAL .

    COOK SAMBHAR FOR 15 TO 20 MINUTES.

    U CAN ADD A PINCH OF SUGAR ALSO.

    SAMBHAR IS READY TO SERVE.

    Add WATER ACCORDINGLY.

    DIVIDE THE BATTER INTO 3 PORTIONS.

    NOW ADD IN SODA SEPARATELY TO EVERY BATTER WHILE MAKING IDLIS

    STEAM IDLIS IN IDLI COOKER.

    SERVE IDLI WITH HOT SAMBHAR.
