  • 500 gms 1) ingredients for making idli : rawa


  • 250 gms curd


  • 1 tsp salt to taste


  • 1 tsp baking soda


  • 1 1/2 cups 2) ingredients for making sambhar : arhar dal


  • 500 gms lauki


  • 1 nos chopped carrot


  • 2 nos chopped onions


  • 2 nos chopped tomatoes


  • 1/4 tsp haldi


  • 1 tsp dhaniya powder


  • 1 tsp red chilli powder


  • 2 tbsp sambhar masala


  • 1 tsp rae


  • 3 tbsp oil


  • 4 nos red chillies


  • 1 tbsp khatae


  • 1 tbsp imli


  • 1 tsp salt to taste

Directions

  • SAMBHAR RECEPI
  • WASH DAL , CUT LAUKI.
  • PRESSURE COOK DAL AND LAUKI BY ADDING SALT AND HALDI.
  • IN A PAN ADD OIL, RAE , CURRY LEAVES AND RED CHILLIES.
  • ADD IN ONIONS AND CARROTS.
  • SAUTE THEM TILL THEY ARE SEMI COOKED.
  • ADD IN TOMATOES.
  • COOK TILL TOMATOES ARE MASHED
  • ADD IN LITTLE WATER AND ALL DRY MASALES
  • ADD IN IMLI DISSOLVED IN WATER
  • AFTER EVERYTHING IS COOKED, TRANSFER THESE INTO DAL .
  • COOK SAMBHAR FOR 15 TO 20 MINUTES.
  • U CAN ADD A PINCH OF SUGAR ALSO.
  • SAMBHAR IS READY TO SERVE.

  • TO RAWA ADD IN DAHI.
  • Add WATER ACCORDINGLY.
  • MAKE THICK BATTER
  • ADD SALT TO TASTE.
  • DIVIDE THE BATTER INTO 3 PORTIONS.
  • NOW ADD IN SODA SEPARATELY TO EVERY BATTER WHILE MAKING IDLIS
  • STEAM IDLIS IN IDLI COOKER.
  • SERVE IDLI WITH HOT SAMBHAR.
