Ingredients

Serves 5

  • rice 4 cups

  • egg 3 nos

  • cardamom powder 1 tsp

  • milk 1/2 litre

  • coconut oil 1/2 litre

  • powdered sugar 2 cups

Directions

    Wash rice and soak it for 2 hours

  • 02

    Grind rice with milk to a thick batter

  • 03

    Add eggs, sugar and cardamom powder to the batter

  • 04

    Mix it well

  • 05

    Dip the moulds in batter and then dip in the heated oil

  • 06

    Deep fry along with the mould

  • 07

    Tap and remove the appam from the mould

  • 08

    Took appam when it ready and let it cool
