Ingredients

Serves 3

  • Boiled and mashed corn 1 cup

  • Boiled and mashed potatoes 3/4 cup

  • Green chillies 2-3 finely chopped

  • Green peas 1/2 cop crushed

  • Chidwa (poha) 1/4 cup crushed

  • Green dhania 1-2 twigs washed and cut

  • Red chilli powder 1 1/2 tblsp

  • Garam masala 1/2 tblsp

  • Salt 1 tblsp or to taste

  • Oil 2 tblsp

  • Cheese 2 tblsp grated

  • Onion 1 medium chopped

Directions

    Mix all ingredients (other than oil) in a pan. Mix till it is like a thick paste. Add chidwa slowly while mixing. Make small cutlets shaped pieces and leave aside for 5 to 10 mins to let them dry. Heat a tawa on gas. Pus a tinge of oil and fry the tikkis on medium flame slowly tossing them. Fry till the color changes to Golden brown. Remove it from pan and spread it with grated cheese and serve hot with tomato sauce.
