Serves : 4
  • 2 nos ripe banana

  • 5 nos egg

  • 5 tbsp sugar

  • 3 tbsp risins

  • 3 tbsp cashew nuts

  • 2 tbsp white cuscus

  • 4 tbsp ghee

  • 1/2 tsp cardamom

  • 1 tbsp milk

  • 1 tbsp salt

  • 1 cups water

  • 1 cups maida or (rice flour)


  • Heat pan with ghee and saute cashew nuts, risins, Then fry chopped coconut flakes and add sugar, 2 eggs stir continuously it become golden fry.
  • Dry roast cuscus for 1 minute on low flame and add to the mixture. Now filling is ready.
  • Dry chopped banana in ghee and also add to fill mixture
  • Add water, maida, salt, 1 teaspoon ghee to make dough
  • Divide dough into 7 piece, then make ball and roll out into circle (like chapati making)
  • Heat tawa and cook 1 side of chapati for 2 seconds
  • Beat 2 eggs with 1 teaspoon sugarar, 1 teaspoon milk and cardamom powder.
  • Grease the non stick pan with ghee
  • Dip one side of the pathiri (chapati) in egg mixture an place in the pan on very low flame
  • Spread coconut banana mixture on top of pathiri
  • Then take another pathi, dip in egg solution and put above of the pathiri in pan which cover fillings. Then add fillings on the top of second pathiri
  • Repeat the same for 6 pathiri
  • Pour remaining batter on top and garnish with cashew and risins
  • Cook in low flame about 20 minutes.
  • Now Chattippathiri is ready for serving
