Ingredients
Serves 8
Raw rice or Basmati rice 500 gms
Jaggery 500 gms
Cooked rice 1 cups
Coconut flakes 5 tbsp
Cardamom 6 nos
Shallot (small bulb type onion) 5 nos
Jeera (cumin) 1 tsp
Backing soda 1 pinch
Salt 1 tbsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Ghee 1 tbsp
Water 1 cups
Directions
Sock the rice in water for 2 hours
Blend the rice using 1 cup of water
Add the coocked rice and blend again
Boil the Jaggery using little water
Add the Jaggery syrup into batter
Add cardamom, cumin, salt and mix well
Heat pressure cooker, add oil and ghee
Fry coconut flakes and chopped shallots
Then pour the mixture into pressure cooker
Heat the cooker 25 minute in very small flame
Note Don't use wight for cooker and don't stir
Ready for serving
