Ingredients

  • 250 gms steamed rice powder


  • 1/2 tsp salt


  • 50 gms grated coconut


  • 100 gms grated carrot


  • 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 2 tbsp onion finely chopped


  • 1 tsp green chilli finely chopped

Directions

  • Take a bowl , add rice powder and salt to taste, slowly sprinkle water and make soft puttu batter without sticking each other.
  • Take a pan , add 1 tsp oil and saute onions with chilli and ginger garlic paste.
  • Add grated carrots to it , add salt. Let it half cook
  • Now take puttu maker, fill coconut first,then carrot mix and then soaked rice powder.
  • I used chiratta puttu maker, let it steam for 10 minutes
  • Serve hot with chutney or any spicy gravy
