Ingredients

Serves 3

  • peeled and washed potatoes 3 nos

  • chopped onion (large) 1 nos

  • eggs 2 nos

  • besan 2-3 tsp

  • All purpose flour (maida) 3 tsp

  • Red chilli powder 1/3 tsp

  • black pepper (powder) 1/3 tsp

  • green chilli (chopped) 2 nos

  • salt or per taste 1 tsp

  • Cooking oil 50 gms

Directions

    Take a big bowl and grate the potatoes with grater.

    Now add 2 glass of water and pour into it , now leave it aside .

    Take another big bowl and break 2 eggs in it

    Mix the batter .

    Now squeeze the grated potatoes perfectly.

    Now add chopped onions onion to the grated potatoes and then add the batter in it .Add the salt too .

    Mix everything nicely .

    Take a frying pan .Put the oil in it with medium heat .

    When the oil become hot put one large scoop of batter and the press it to make a pancake or cheela .

    Now turn them after 1 or 2 min and with a second turn for about 1 to 2 mins your cheela is ready .

    Serve it with chilli sause.
