Ingredients

  • rice flour 2 cups

  • salt 1 tsp

  • coconut grated 1 cups

  • oil 1 tsp

Directions

    Take a vessel, pour some water and heat it

    To this add salt, followed by oil

  • 03

    Pour hot water to the rice flour

  • 04

    Knead well to get a smooth dough

  • 05

    After heating water in an idiappam maker, fill the idiyappam squeezer with the rice dough

  • 06

    Put small quantities of grated coconut on the concave surface of the idiyappam pan

  • 07

    Squeeze down the dough on top of that

  • 08

    Steam well
