Vermicelli 2 cups
onion finely chopped 1 nos
tomatoeas finely chopped 2 nos
oil 2 tbsp
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Curry leaves 4-5 nos
Salt to taste 1 tsp
green chilli chopped 1 nos
black pepper 1 tsp
fresh chopped coriander leaves 2 tbsp
Boil 3 cups of water and add vermicelli.
Cook till they are semicooked. As the process of cooking continues even after straining it out.
Strain and wash it under cold water.
Let it rest for around 10 minutes.
In a pan add oil.. rae..green chillies,.. curry leaves..
Then add in onion. Saute till they are slight pinkish in colour.
Add in Tomatoes. Cook till they become tender.
Add in boiled Vermicelli.
Add salt and pepper to taste
Saute for a minute or two.
Namkeen Sewiyan is ready.
Serve hot with fresh coriander leaves.
