Ingredients

Serves 6

  • hot brewed coffee 6 cups

  • ground ginger 1 tsp

  • ground cloves 1 tsp

  • ground cinnamon 3/4 tsp

  • sweetened whipped cream 2 cups

  • half-and-half cream 1 cups

  • molasses 1/2 cups

  • baking soda 1/2 tsp

  • brown sugar 1/4 cups

Directions

    Mix molasses, ginger, brown sugar, cinnamon and baking soda until well blended

  • 02

    Cover and refrigerate for at least 10 minutes

  • 03

    Add about a 1/4 cup of coffee to each cup

  • 04

    Stir in about a tablespoon of the spice mixture until dissolved

  • 05

    Fill cup to within a inch of the top with coffee

  • 06

    Stir in half and half to taste

  • 07

    Garnish with whipped cream and a light dusting of cloves
