Ingredients

Serves : 1
  • 250 gms potatoes / aloo boiled and mashed


  • 2 cups onion chopped


  • 1 cups tomato / tamatar


  • 1 tsp ginger / adarak grated


  • 3-4 nos green chillies / hari mirch chopped (quantity depends upon preference)


  • 1 tbsp turmeric powder / haldi


  • 2 tsp red chilli powder / lal mirch powder


  • 2-3 tsp garam masala


  • 1 tsp black mustard seeds / rai


  • 10-15 nos curry leaves/ curry patta


  • 1/4 tsp asafetida / hing-


  • 1 pinch coriander leaves

Directions

  • Heat oil in a pan. Now put hing and rai in oil and let it crackle.
  • After that add grated ginger and green chillies with curry leaves and saute for a minute.
  • Then add 1 cup of onion and saute it till it turns light brown.
  • Now add all the dry spices except salt and saute for some more time.
  • When spices are cooked then add remaining onions, tomatoes and boiled potatoes with salt and mix it well.
  • Cook and mix it for 5 minutes and switch off the flame.
  • Now garnish it with coriander leaves and mix.
  • Potato stuffing for dosa is ready.
