Total Time : 30 Min

Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • 8 nos crescent rolls

  • 1 tbsp plain cream cheese

  • 1 tbsp cinnamon sugar mix as per need

  • 1 nos green apples, thinly sliced few

  • 1 tbsp butter as needed

Directions

  • First things first, butter your baking sheet.
  • Very thinly slice apples. (Slice these as thin as you possibly can, like less than ¼ in thick)
  • Unroll your can of crescent rolls in triangles. Separate the triangles, lay one out in front of you and the others to the side so you have plenty of room to work.
  • Using a butter knife, spread room temperature cream cheese over your crescent triangle.
  • Sprinkle a very heft helping of cinnamon sugar mix over top.
  • Next, layer your thin slices of apple along the length of the crescent roll, starting at the tip of the triangle. Leave about an inch of space at the end, this way you can roll them effectively.
  • Before you roll them, sprinkle a bit more cinnamon sugar over top of the apples.
  • Carefully roll them up and place onto the baking sheet. Repeat this until all of your apple rolls are ready to bake.
  • Prior to placing in the oven, place either a small pad of butter or brush on melted butter over top of rolls and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. (no one said these were healthy!)
  • Place into oven on 375 for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • *Pay very close attention as ovens will vary.
