  • cocoa powder 1 tsp

  • sugar 3 tsp

  • salt 1 tsp

  • milk 2 tsp

  • brewed coffee 1 tbsp

    First, in your microwave safe mug, add together the cocoa powder, sugar, salt, first bit of milk and coffee. Stir together until it forms somewhat of a thick chocolaty paste. It will take just a couple minutes, so don’t lose patience!

    Once you have created your mocha hot chocolate base, fill the rest of the mug with milk, and microwave until hot. I like to do this in minute intervals. This is mostly because while perfecting this hot chocolate recipe, I’ve had many an explosion. Stir in between heating and once it’s heated through, it’s time to enjoy!
