Ingredients

  • 2 egg yolks, at room temperature


  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard


  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice or wine vinegar


  • 1 cup mild oil, such as avocado or sunflower


  • 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt

Directions

  • In a blender or food processor, place the egg Yolks, mustard, lemon juice, and salt. Turn on the motor on low and immediately begin to add the oil in a thin and steady stream. When all of the oil has been added, quickly turn off the machine. The mixture should be thick with all of the oil Blended in. Taste and add more salt if necessary.this mayonnaise is a great Foundation to other sauces and dressings
