Ingredients

  • 1 cups raw rice


  • 1/2 cups thin avalakki


  • 1/2 cups coconut, fresh


  • 1/2 tsp salt


  • 2-3 cups water


  • 1/2 tsp oil ,to grease the pan

Directions

  • soak the rice atleast 4-6 hours.
  • blend the rice to smooth batter
  • add in required water to make pouring consistency
  • spread some oil over tava and pour the batter over the hot tava. you should be able to see some holes formed while pouring batter over tava. thats the right consistency of batter. if not you need to add some more watter.
  • smear some oil over the dosa.
  • cover the dosa with a lid. and allow to cook on medium flame.
  • serve the neer dosa with chutney
