Bacon Wrapped Chicken

Total Time : 45 Min

Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 Pack of Bacon (Make sure not to get thick cut)

  • 2 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts

  • 3 Tbsp. Brown Sugar

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. (Make sure the oven rack is on the 3rd shelf up from the bottom)
  • Cut the raw chicken breasts into lengthwise strips. (Depending on the size of the chicken breasts I usually get about 11-13 strips)
  • Take 1 strip of raw bacon & wrap it around a raw chicken strip. (Taking the bacon out of the fridge while prepping the chicken will make it easier to work with)
  • Place the bacon wrapped strips on a grated baking sheet/pan with raised edges to catch drippings. Make sure to wrap any excess bacon under to prevent the ends from burning. (Lining the pan with tin foil first is recommended for easier clean-up)
  • Sprinkle brown sugar on the top of each bacon wrapped strip & bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 400 degrees. After 20 minutes set the oven to broil; approximately 500 degrees for 10 minutes. Check regularly so they do not burn. (I usually crack the oven open for the last 5 minutes while they are on broil)
