Ingredients

Serves :
  • 6 (about 1kg) Desiree potatoes, peeled, coarsely chopped


  • 6 garlic cloves, peeled


  • 125ml (1/2 cup) extra virgin olive oil


  • 80ml (1/3 cup) milk

Directions

  • Place the potato and garlic in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Place over high heat and bring to the boil. Cook for 15 minutes or until tender. Drain well. Return potato and garlic to the pan.
  • Add the oil and milk. Use a potato masher or fork to mash until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to serve.
