150g butter, at room temperature
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup dark choc bits
2 cups self-raising flour
1 tablespoon MasterFoods® Ginger Ground
2 tablespoons milk
Preheat oven to 160C/140C fan forced. Line 3 large baking trays with non stick baking paper.
Using and electric mixer, beat butter and sugar together until pale and fluffy. Beat in egg until well combined. Stir in choc chips, flour, ginger and milk until starting to come together then use fingertips to mix until well combined.
Roll level tablespoon measures of the mixture into balls then place on prepared trays, 5cm apart, flatten slightly. Bake each tray for 15 minutes or until light golden. Transfer to wire rack to cool. Serve.
