Quick Mini Monkey Breads


This is a combination of the recipe that is on the package on the canned buttermilk biscuits for Monkey Bread and I used the idea for mini garlic monkey breads from the Real Mom Kitchen blog. This are delicious!

Serves : 12
  • 3⁄4 granulated sugar

  • 2 ground cinnamon

  • 2 (7 1/2 ounce) cans refrigerated buttermilk biscuits

  • 1⁄2 butter

  • 3⁄4 brown sugar


  • Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. Grease or spray muffin tins.
  • Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon in 1-gallon bag. Cut each bisuit into quarters (kitchen shears or a pizza cutter make this a cinch!); Shake quarters in bag to coat.
  • Using a 12 cup muffin tin, place 6-7 pieces of the coated biscuit dough into each muffin cup.
  • Mix brown sugar and melted butter and pour over biscuit pieces.
  • Bake at 400 degrees for 12-14 minutes until golden brown. Invert mini monkey breads onto a plate and serve warm.
