Description
My sugar free and much less expensive version of the ever popular smoothie! I got tired of paying $5 or more for ONE smoothie. You can change the fruits around to suit your taste. The combos are endless! I've also used peaches, raspberries, and mangos in the past. I've also added ground golden flaxseeds for those Omega oils. The recipe below is "per blender". Depending on the size of your blender, this could be too much, or could be very little. Adjust according to your blender.

Ingredients
Serves 10-12
4lbs frozen unsweetened strawberries
2lbs unsweetened frozen blueberries
32ounces low-fat vanilla yogurt (I use Light n Lively)
1 -2cup reduced-fat milk (Used to thin fruit and yogurt.(I use Hood Brand low fat, low sugar milk) or 1 -2 cup skim milk (Used to thin fruit and yogurt.(I use Hood Brand low fat, low sugar milk)
4 -6tablespoons Splenda granular, sugar substitute (Per blender, I use between 4 and 6 Tbls.)
1⁄2-1teaspoon pure vanilla extract (I use 1/2 tsp Mexican vanilla/1 tsp regular vanilla.)
Directions
In a blender, layer 1 cp strawberries, 1/2 cp blueberries, 1 cp yogurt, approx 1/2 cup milk, or more for thinner smoothie, and vanilla extract. Start out by mixing it til blended, then set on puree for one minute, longer for more processed smoothies.
This also freezes VERY well. I'll make a double batch and put 1 gallon away in the freezer, so I don't have to make it so often.
