Ingredients

Serves 6-8

  • 3 -4cups leftover mashed potatoes

  • 1cup corn

  • 1⁄2 cup flour

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • 1cup panko breadcrumbs (Japanese bread crumbs)

  • oil (for frying)

Directions

    Mix together mashed potatoes and corn.

  • 02

    Make into patties that are fat but flat.

  • 03

    Dip each pattie first in flour, then beaten egg, then panko.

  • 04

    Fry in hot oil.

  • 05

    Drain on paper towels.

  • 06

    Serve with Tonkatsu sauce, or other Asian sauce.
