Ingredients

Serves :
  • 1cup rava/sooji


  • 1 inch ginger (chopped)


  • 2(chopped) green chilly


  • 1(sliced length wise ) onion


  • handful coconut grated a


  • 1/2 (optional) ghee


  • 1.5cups water


  • seasoning


  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds


  • 1/4tsp urad dal


  • 2 no dry red chilly(vattal mulaku) (cut into pieces)


  • curry leaves few

Directions

  • Dry Roast Rava for few minutes and keep it aside.Dont fry too much
  • oil in a pan and do the seasoning..
  • First add red chillies ,then mustard seeds ,then urad dal and lastly curry leaves..
  • After seasoning add green chillies ,ginger and big onion.
  • Saute them till the onion start to turn brown colour .Add ghee (if u like ghee) or oil
  • Add water ,coconut and salt ..Allow to boil .At that time add rava gradually..
  • Keep stirring and take care not to form lumps..Simmer the stove,cover it with a lid and cook it for few mins.
  • Switch of the gas ..Serve hot ..!
