Ingredients

Serves : 4 serving
  • 1 carrot


  • 1 potato


  • 8 beans


  • 1/2 tomato


  • 1/2 of small big onion


  • 1/4tsp mustard seeds


  • 1 curry leaves string


  • 2cups water


  • 1tbsp oil


  • to taste salt


  • coriander leaves few


  • for the masala paste


  • 1/2 big onion


  • ginger small piece


  • 1clove garlic


  • 1 green chilli


  • 5 6 curry leaves leaves


  • 1 cloves


  • 1 small cinnamon


  • 1 cardamom


  • 1/4tsp fennel seeds


  • 1/2  of 1 grated coconut


  • 2 pinchs turmeric powder


  • 1/4tsp coriander powder

Directions

  • Wash and peel vegetables..Cut into small pieces(potato,carrot,beans,tomato) ..(if u want u can include cauliflower ,green peas etc)
  • In a cooker add all these vegetable along with 1/2 of a big onion (sliced ) and water …
  • Cook until done..(one whistle is enough)
  • Let it cool down and open the cooker and set aside
  • Add all ingredients listed in masala paste into a blender and make a very fine paste
  • Add this paste to the  cooked vegetable along with salt and allow to boil
  • Stir well until the boiling point .. Allow to thicken the gravy to a semi medium consistency
  • Then season with mustard seeds and curry leaves
  • Garnish with coriander leaves
