Ingredients

Serves : 2 serving
  • 1 Cup rice


  • 2 Cups water


  • 2 potatoes


  • 2 onion


  • ½ Cup peas


  • ½ Teaspoon red chilli powder


  • 1 Teaspoon salt


  • 4-5 Tablespoons oil


  • ¼ Teaspoon turmeric powder


  • ½ Teaspoon ginger garlic paste

Directions

  • Keep aside soaked rice for about 30-60 min.
  • Slice onion and chop potatoes into small pieces.
  • Heat oil in frying pan, put sliced onions and continue heating.
  • When the onions turn golden, add turmeric powder and ginger-garlic paste. Heat for another minute and add potatoes and peas.
  • Saute for 2-3 minutes, add little water and cook till the potatoes and peas are half cooked.
  • Add rice, salt and red chilli powder. Mix and add 2 cups of water and boil.
  • Cover and boil rice under reduced flame.
  • Serve with curd.
